General Management and Administration Section facilitates the operations of Student Support and Development Division. The details of the workload are as follows:

Setting action plans, the goals and indicators matches with the missions of the Student Support and Development Division and the indicators and strategies of the Walailak University
Coordinate the planning and strategy section to request an advance annually budget. Manage records and check budgets spent to ensure they are in accordance with the plan.
Conduct an analysis and screening of incoming and outgoing documents through electronic archive systems (doms). Motivate employees to use doms system according to university policy
Manage leave information, overtime record, assign DSSD officers to implement the university’s HR policy, such as recording attendance, recording daily operations, etc.
Organize monthly meeting for the Division of Student Support and Development and meetings according to the university’s policy, such as meetings of the Vice Dean/Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, etc.
Gather segment performance data to synthesize quarterly performance reports. Report by university level indicators Educational Quality Assurance Report Certified Job Progress Report (OKR), etc.
Development, maintainment, improvement and coordinating the use of information systems and student databases to be up-to-date.
Publicize the news of student activities and disseminate the achievements of the Division of Student Support and Development on the website of DSSD (dsa.wu.ac.th), intranet website (intranet.wu.ac.th) and through the social network of the section and improve the website to be in accordance with Walailak University’s website standards Monthly news release report
Directing the operation requested for approval of the budget for DSSD and student activities according to the policy of the Finance and Accounting Department, completed within 15 days
Prepare a purchase report. Management of office equipment. Sell and move equipment.
Providing services for coordinating training for military students who wish to continue studying military subjects, year 3-5, managing the list of students submitting an annual waiver of military conscription online by collecting documents to send recruiting documents to all provinces of students within February of each year.
Supervise and follow up the electric train service to be sufficiently orderly. Visit the operation of the driver and coordinator of EVT at the train office at the car center.
Staffs of the general administration and administration section as committees according to various missions. of the university according to the student promotion and development department, such as the Central Committee for Graduate Practice and the receiving-delivering department in the annual graduation ceremony, receiving a 5S assessment, agencies, etc.
