On the morning of February 4, 2023, Walailak University organized the 3rd WU Happy Fun Run, organized by the Division of Student Support and Development (DSSD) to promote self-discipline according to the 4 core values and also provide opportunities for students to enjoy exercising together.
Associate Professor Dr. Worawut Somsak, Acting Vice President gave a report on the objectives of the activity to Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University, before openning at 6.15 This walking route starting from Thai Buri Building – Innovation Building – Club Intersection – Botanical Park – Road in front of the dormitory – Thai Buri Building, a total distance of approximately 7.4 kilometers.
The first runners crossed the finish line at 6:45 a.m., before the runners gradually crossed the finish line in succession. Award for the order of running to the finish line for general male and female runners. Fancy-dressed runners dressed in exotic outfits join in the fun. By organizing walking-running activities, WU Happy Fun Run is held regularly every semester. For the next arrangement, it will be the 1st semester of 2023.
