On September 4-5, 2021, Smile & Smart Center under the system of caring and enhancing the potential of Walailak University students to be “Keng, Dee, Mee Suk“, Smart – Responsible and Happiness students, organized an online training and workshop course “Into the human mind“. Associate Professor Dr. Pichai Itthasakul, MD., Faculty of Medical, Ramathibodi Hospital and Assistant Professor, Dr. Woraluksana Thiramok, Deputy Director of Medical Affairs Manarom Hospital Bangkok are guest speakers, and Dr. Pawarut Phuangsri, School of Medical and Dr. Nopporn Thamrongrat, School of Science are group assistant speakers. There were 72 lecturers and academicians attended the training via Zoom Meeting.
This training aims to empower Helpers with skills in caring for students facing mental and psychiatric problems and able to apply knowledge, skills and experience in helping students, as well as being able to extend the results to other lecturers in the faculty. It is suggested that this kind of training activities be organized in other issues.
From the satisfaction assessment of the training, participants satisfied with online training among the COVID-19 situation at the highest level. Trained Helpers have increased knowledge with confident in being a “Helper”
